Reservations Policy

BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION:
Secure your reservation as soon as your plans are definite. Last minute reservations are possible if the reservation is made and completed 2 days prior to your arrival date.  if you reach voice mail during regular business hours, we are assisting other guests with their reservations. Please leave ONE message, we return our calls in the order in which we receive them. A reservation deposit of $150.00 or 50% whichever is greater of the total reservation amount is due within ten (10) days of making the reservation. Final payment is due thirty (30) days prior to your arrival, sixty (60) days for Holiday reservations.

PAYMENT:
Reservation deposit and final payment must be made by check or money order. Reservation is not secure until reservation deposit is received. If booking a reservation within thirty (30) or less of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking the reservation; payment must be made by check or money order. Visa – Master Card – Discover Cards are "NOT" accepted.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
Deposits vary depending on the home, size of the party, length of stay and or pets. We obtain credit card information for the security deposit, .A security deposit is required to protect the privately owned home you are staying in against damages and are fully refunded if:

1.)           Guest returns keys to our office upon departure.

2.)           No damage or loss is incurred, and procedures and policies are followed.

3.)           Guest leaves the cabin clean and ready for the next guest.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please understand when you make a reservation we block out your dates, if you cancel under thirty (30) days of your arrival, we rarely can rebook your dates. Cancellations made thirty (30) days prior to arrival receive a refund less $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations made twenty nine (29) days or less, all monies are forfeited unless your exact dates can be re-booked. The amount recovered is refunded, less the $100.00 cancellation fee.

MAXIMUM GUESTS:
The maximum amount of guests allowed in each cabin is listed on “our cabins” page. Mountain cabins do not have a regular “sewer system” and most do not have “regular water source”. Our cabins have septic systems, wells, and some have cisterns (the water has to be delivered). The amount of guests’ allowed is determined by septic capacity and water availability. The cabins will only support a set number of adults and children, and will not support more than 6 adults (guests over the age of 13).   Please do not arrive with additional guests which will exceed the maximum allowed and expect them to stay in the cabin.

SMOKING:
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE ANY OF THE CABINS, MOST CABINS DO ALLOW SMOKING OUTSIDE. MARIJUANA IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF ANY CABIN. THE CABINS ARE PRIVATELY OWNED HOMES, THE OWNERS AND COLORADO MOUNTAIN CABINS WOULD APPRECIATE YOU ABIDING BY THESE POLICIES. ALTHOUGH IT IS LEGAL IN THE STATE, IT IS NOT ALLOWED AT THE CABINS.

LINENS:

Comforters, blankets and pillows are provided at each cabin. Guests may bring their own linens if they want to.. A set of linens includes sheets, towels, hand towels, wash clothes and kitchen linens. Bring the linens back to us and we launder them.

CHECK–IN/CHECK-OUT:

Check in time at the cabin is 3:00 p.m. on your arrival date. Check out is by 11:00 a.m. on your departure date. You may pick up your keys at our office no earlier than 2:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival.  

DISCLAIMER:

Wolf Creek Cabins reserves the right to change accommodations without notice up to the day of arrival due to unexpected issues at the cabin, which may include but not limited to appliance malfunctions, plumbing problems, and frozen pipes or septic. An attempt will be made to provide equal accommodations or upgrade at no extra charge. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at anytime, for any reason.

 

PRIVACY POLICY:

Your privacy is very important to us. Please be assured that any information you provide Wolf Creek  Cabins is held in strict confidentiality by our company for internal recordkeeping, and will never be shared with other sources.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is smoking allowed in the cabins?
Smoking is not allowed in any of the cabins. There are a select few that do not allow smoking on the premises, inside or outside. It is possible the county could institute “no outside smoking bans” in the event of high fire danger. If you do smoke outside, please close the door and windows so the smoke does not enter the cabin. All cigarette butts are to be disposed of with your trash and not left on the ground around the cabin.


 

Can we have a campfire?
Outdoor fires are not permitted at any of the cabins; this includes charcoal grills and fireworks. There is a gas grill at each cabin, the propane is provided. Discharging of firearms is also prohibited on the properties.

Can we use candles?
Candles are not permitted in any of the cabins. We provide flash lights in each cabin. You may want to bring an emergency lantern in the event of a power failure.

Do you provide firewood?
We do not provide fire wood. It can be purchased at local supermarkets and convenience stores. We do have a supply of newspapers for starting a fire in the cabins with wood burning stoves or fireplaces.

Is there cell phone coverage at the cabins?
Cell phone reception is spotty at best, some plans work at some cabins, where other plans do not.

Can we get a refund if we cannot get to the cabin due to the weather?
Refunds are not issued if the guest cannot get to their cabin due to road closures or weather related conditions
